A dedicated leader and dynamic servant, Dr. Darlene serves faithfully alongside her husband, Pastor Richard Blakely, as Co-Pastor of Acts of Random Kindness Christian Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Darlene is known for being a prolific and engaging preacher and teacher, whose ministry is characterized by a deep commitment to spiritual growth, family stability, and empowering the next generation.

Her vision has led to the establishment of key ministries that enrich our congregation and community, including the Youth Praise Dancers, the welcoming H.U.G. (Hospitality, Ushers, Greeters) ministry, and the transformative #BeyondBlessed Women’s Conference.

Professionally, Dr. Darlene is a therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, bringing her expert knowledge to bear through relationship education workshops that provide crucial support to couples and families in crisis. She holds a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern University, a Master of Administration in Human Services from Chestnut Hill College, and a Bachelor of Human Services from Antioch University, along with numerous certificates in biblical studies and relationship education.

Pastor Richard and Dr. Darlene are blessed with one daughter, Minister Dionna Avery.
